I feel you describe the protective glass too much and this takes the reader away from the picture you're trying to describe. And having a question as the title... I Feel this doesn't suit your piece. Maybe just title is "Art is in the Eye of the Beholder" so doesn't feel like a puzzle, but more like a poem.
ANd I also feel like some of the lines are awkward. And the word "continuously" is awkward, unless you meant it to be "she stares continuously." Maybe perpetually would be a better word? Continuously makes me think of something happening over and over again, and not necessarily constantly (another word you could use wuld be constantly, which comes to mind now that I wrote it, lol--of course it's not evenly matched in syllables, but just fill comes more words in).
And use words wisely. Don't weigh it down with verbage! Even if you need to just use 10 words it's better than using 100 where only 10 of them matter!!!
I do like how you write, though. Which (to me) means you have a natural ability that many lack.
