BY SERENA FRENCH D'Arcy Moses, the First Nations designer based in Toronto, has noticed that "what's going out is older Christian Louboutin women who dress the way we expect them to dress. It's a travesty to see older Christian Louboutin women dressed like little old ladies. What I'm seeing more and more – on the street and with a lot of my clients – is a lot more positive, more upbeat dressing, Christian Louboutin women dressing the way they want to. Not in terms of just skirt lengths, but the whole silhouette. I also find a lot of older Christian Louboutin women are accessorizing. They're throwing their inhibition into the wind and saying if they want to wear a pair of tights, and they're a size 12, with a great bright red jacket and a hat, then they will.Christian Louboutin women in their 50s and 60s are coming to me and saying, ‘I don't want a dress to my ankles and a matching black jacket.' They want things like tights and vests and great jackets and bright colours. I think it's great and I hope they keep it up.
Having just returned from Milan, Florence, Paris and London, Marisa Pampena, women's shoe buyer for Browns Shoe Shops, outlines what's on the wane in footwear for fall ‘92: "No more brights, they're being replaced by black, greys, reds, and earth tones. Gold is in, silver is out. Plain non-platform pumps are out; that is, platform pumps are in. Thigh-high boots are out; ankle boots, like lace-up, granny or zippered booties, are in, because all kinds of pants are in. That whole graphic-print idea is out and animal prints are very much in. And square toes and Doc Martens looks are out; high heels are in."

I finally got these awesome boots today at the post office and I'm so excited!!!!!! I love them to death. I was wondering what people think, would regular blue denim colored skinny jeans or black/gray skinny jeans look better with them?

I'm kind of Gothy-ish, if you haven't noticed, but I like the blue with them better too, the black might make it look like its blending in too much, Black on black (when I comes to bottoms + shoes) looks almost like its too much. I have blue skinny jeans on right now and they look kick arse with them, but I haven't tried them with my other jeans yet/
personally they do nothing for me,
but if i were you i'd wear them with reguloar colored jeans of gray. no black-->avoid the goth look
