how to remove rust from linen tablecloth?

very, very carefully use CLR (calcium, lime, rust remover) one part clr to 20 parts water. put a cotton ball on the front and back of the stain and blot at it with clr. rinse thoroughly with water.

alteratively, you could use salt and lemon juice. put salt on, add lemon juice, then leave to dry. it'll take a couple of goes.

you can also use salt and vinegar mixed together to form a thick paste and apply. when the rust marks start bleeding into the surrounding fabric, rinse out.
