You can buy it from the hawkers in HK, it is really really amazing cheap. I bought one for 12 - digit Casio calculators at US$ 1.50. and it works.
What Will happen when I plug a lamp from USA (110V) in Hong Kong (220V) ?

I want to buy a vintage lamp from USA where the voltage is 110v and use it in Hong Kong (220v output) I realize the voltage difference in bulbs and want to know if the light fixture matters as long as I use the bulbs with the right place.
I just don't want to blow up the nice lamp and my home
In theory, if you use the proper voltage bulbs, it will work.
However, the wiring and components will need to be rated at, if not certified for 250V to use safely.
If it were me, I would replace the socket and wiring with modern domestically safe components.
