My wedding dress was a white sun dress (can be worn halter or strapless). I've only worn it once, but it's very casual, except that it's ALL white and has a daisy patterned lace overlay. I want to wear it to our first anniversary dinner party in September. Is that okay? It's still warm in September down here in Florida. Would it be too much of a faux pas?

Also, I want to make it look even more casual; break up that solid white. What's a good way to accessorize a white sun dress? I don't want it to look like a wedding dress. I know that any jewelry I will be wearing will be silver (bc I don't like gold), but what color should I use to break up the white? I look good in jewel tones. I was thinking maybe a red, some shade of blue or pink. Keep in mind I'm fair skinned, have fairly dark blue eyes and brown hair with a reddish tint to it-basically a chestnut color. I don't want a big formal updo. Any ideas on a nice casual, but classy style that would be good for a dinner party?
